Some 260,000 tonnes of potatoes have already been harvested, with the average yield making up 334.4 centners per hectare, 18.7 centners per hectare above last year. The regional breakdown is the following: Minsk Oblast - 2.261 million tonnes, Grodno Oblast – 1.745 million tonnes, Brest Oblast – 1.687 million tonnes, Mogilev Oblast – 1.266 million tonnes, Gomel Oblast – 1.052 million tonnes, Vitebsk Oblast – 1,004,000 tonnes. Average grain yield is 8.2 centners per hectare higher than last year’s level. Some 515,000 tonnes of hay (71% of the plan) and 13.485 million tonnes of haylage (97% of the plan) have been prepared so far. Forage production has reached 5.921 million tonnes (59% of the target).
