A 90 year old previous occupant who had been born in the house told the couple about the spirit of an ‘old lady in a wimple’ who haunted the house. When I arrived, she explained that she’d come into the house that morning to find the kitchen tap turned 180-degrees around so that the water fell onto the worktop. I was prepared to blame that strange occurrence on human error, until she told me that the day before she was in the house along and had come into the kitchen to find all of the burners on the stove alight.
