Follow us on:MINSK, 23 September (BelTA) – A Minsk Oblast delegation led by Chairman of the Minsk Oblast Executive Committee Aleksei Kushnarenko is visiting Russia’s Omsk Oblast to bolster the already bourgeoning cooperation, BelTA learned from the press service of the Minsk Oblast Executive Committee.Just recently, the parties have held seven meetings at various levels. The commission on trade, economic, and investment cooperation has picked up steam.“The best confirmation of this is trade figures. I would like to note that Omsk Oblast supplies us with oil refining products, seeds, including purple wheat, which is of interest for Belarus. Therefore, we have adopted the experience,” said Sergei Primachenko, Chairman of the Committee for Agriculture and Food of the Minsk Oblast Executive Committee.The Borisov bread enterprise is already working with purple wheat. This year, a new variety is being studied in the central, southern, and northern zones of Minsk Oblast.
