MINSK, 23 September (BelTA) – The eighth congress of the public organization Federal National and Cultural Autonomy of Belarusians of Russia took place in the Moscow House of Nationalities. Minister-Counselor of the Embassy of Belarus in Russia Darya Shmanai took part in it, the press service of the Belarusian embassy in Russia told BelTA. This congress will become a stimulus for active cooperation and joint work on new projects. And although we are far from our native country, we should not forget about the roots that connect us with each other. The chairperson of the Federal National and Cultural Autonomy of Belarusians of Russia, members of the autonomy’s Council and the autonomy’s Review Board were elected during the event.
