It’s time to say goodbye to Portland’s favorite polar bear — and hello to a new fluffy friend

Earlier this month, Portland bid farewell to Amelia Gray, one of the city’s beloved polar bear sisters.
Now, half-sister Nora is leaving the Rose City behind, too, and a new young bear is moving in.
First, she’ll meet 26-year-old “auntie” bear Berit, though eventually Nora will be introduced to a male bear.
Kallik, a young male polar bear from the Saint Louis Zoo, will be moving to Portland this fall.
