Read our Privacy noticeToys “R” Us has big plans for a comeback, announcing that it will more than double the number of standalone stores open in the U.S.
The iconic toy retailer last week announced its plans to open 10 new flagship stores and 20 “seasonal holiday shops” with its partner, Go!
Once a staple in American malls, Toys “R” Us filed for bankruptcy in 2017, essentially wiping its nationwide presence as a beloved toy retailer.
Toys “R” Us only operates a handful of standalone stores, including in New Jersey’s American Dream Mall and the Mall of America in Minnesota.
The chain currently reaches American customers through its website and by selling toys inside Macy’s locations across the country.
