WASHINGTON, D.C. – Dr. Michele Hockersmith, State Director of the Oklahoma Small Business Development Center housed on the campus of Southeastern Oklahoma State University, has been re-elected to a second term on the Board of Directors for America’s Small Business Development Center. Hockersmith was elected to her initial term on the America’s SBDC board in the fall of 2023. She has held the position of State Director for the Oklahoma Small Business Development Center network since 2018, after serving as Assistant State Director for the Oklahoma SBDC. America’s SBDC is a non-profit Association representing America’s nationwide network of Small Business Development Centers (SBDCs) – the most comprehensive small business assistance network in the United States and its territories. Hockersmith’s commitment extends to the national level, where she is part of the Leadership Development Committee for America’s SBDC.
