Deadline: 30-Oct-2025The Department of Human Services is requesting applications for its Supporting Regional and Remote Volunteers Grant Program for projects that build volunteer capacity in South Australia’s rural and remote communities. This grant is designed to strengthen volunteer programs in regional and remote South Australia by providing organisations with the resources, training, and support needed to build inclusive and resilient communities. Projects previously funded by the Department of Human Services are also ineligible for top-up funding. Eligible applicants include Aboriginal Community-Controlled Organisations, not-for-profit organisations, social enterprises with certification from Social Traders, and regional local government agencies. Organisations must meet specific requirements, such as being incorporated, operating in South Australia, having a valid ABN, and not having outstanding contractual obligations with the Department of Human Services.
