Anthony Albanese says he knows how the Trump administration wants to tweak AUKUS, but he will not reveal them. However, Mr Trump said he had some changes in mind. “Well, they said yesterday, not only was it said that the timeline was on track, but that potentially it could be brought forward,” Mr Albanese replied, dodging the first part of the question. “It’s not simple, it has stages to it,” Mr Albanese said. “I think the AUKUS agreement is about our national security and is about a more secure and peaceful Indo-Pacific and region,” Mr Albanese said.
