Giorgi architect Logan Dongray said ever since the pandemic, health and wellness features have become the new norm in high-end residential architecture. Bev Heymans, director of Belle Property Cottesloe and Dalkeith, said wellness features are high on many home hunters’ wish lists right now. According to recent data from the Global Wellness Institute, wellness real estate is the fastest growing market in the 11-sector global wellness economy, currently worth $US6.3 trillion. However, Mr Dongray pointed out wellness features should be considered early in the design stage, not as an afterthought.
