Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir High Court Bar Association (HCBA) on Tuesday decided to defer its elections, a day after the government asked the layers body to clarify their stand on Kashmir. “We have decided to defer the elections. New date is yet to be fixed,” Election Commissioner of HCBA, Advocate Mudasir said. “New date will be announced after deliberations,” reported news agency KNOThe Bar elections were scheduled to be held today. However, in the meeting held in Srinagar, it was decided to defer the elections for some time.
