With several vendors halting services to Jefferson County offices, County Judge Gerald Robinson attempted to hold a special quorum court meeting Tuesday night to address the situation. However, the meeting could not proceed due to a lack of quorum. According to county officials, the group of justices known locally as “The Eight” declined to attend the meeting, leaving the court without enough members present to conduct business.
