Samsung has introduced the Galaxy XR, a mixed-reality headset built on the new Android XR platform co-developed with Google and Qualcomm. The Galaxy XR is the debut product for Android XR, a platform made to power next-generation headsets and future AI glasses. For entertainment, the Galaxy XR provides a 4K viewing experience, immersive sports streaming, and spatial audio. The Galaxy XR is available now in the U.S. through Samsung.com and Samsung Experience Stores for $1,799.99 US (about $2,520 CAD). The Galaxy XR is not available in Canada right now as it’s U.S. only at launch.
