The management of Obafemi Awolowo University, OAU, Ile-Ife, Osun State, has condemned the recent attacks on some of its students by suspected armed robbers. In a statement issued on Tuesday, the Public Relations Officer of the University, Abiodun Olarewaju, described the attacks as unfortunate and unacceptable. He disclosed that three students sustained varying degrees of injuries and were immediately attended to at the University Health Centre. “We wish the injured students a speedy recovery and express gratitude to God for sparing their lives,” he concluded. The Osun State Police Command has confirmed the incident.
