Teddy was cast in the Bournemouth and Boscombe Light Opera Company’s production of Annie after his owner, Steff Mc Ginn, learned of the role through her dog groomer.
Annie tells the story of an orphaned girl from New York City who is taken in by a billionaire.
“He’s a far cry from that now.”To prepare him for his role, Steff said she would play him loud music and sing to him, where he who would howl loudly.
Jonathan Busk, who will perform on stage with Teddy, said of working with Teddy: “He’s great fun.
“He’s been great and in terms of the whole production, it’s been very smooth.”Tickets for Annie can be purchased from the Bournemouth Pavilion website.
