The event, called ElderFest, is organised by Christchurch Community Partnership and BCP Council's Age Friendly Network. Sandra Prudom, CEO of Christchurch Community Partnership, said: "We’re thrilled to be launching ElderFest. The one-day festival will unite almost 30 local organisations offering services and activities designed to support older people. Attendees can expect free health checks, wellbeing talks, refreshments and opportunities to connect with community groups and services. Councillor Sandra Moore, BCP Council cabinet member for communities and partnerships, said: "This wonderful festival brings all the support, activities, and community groups together."
