The supermarket chain's Winter Fund aims to help those in need ahead of the festive season. The Winter Fund initiative saw ten charities receive £1,000 each. Aldi is now calling on shoppers in Dorset to nominate local charities, community groups and food banks to receive part of the donation. To nominate a charity, shoppers need to email aldiwinterfund@citypress.co.uk with the name and location of the organisation, along with a summary of why they need support. Shoppers can also donate food to local charities via the community donation points in Aldi stores.
