Octogenarian fundraiser swaps skydiving for runway

Gordon Lewis, 81, from Bournemouth, who has previously completed a skydive from 15,000 feet, abseiled down the Spinnaker Tower and climbed to Everest Base Camp, has taken on a new challenge.
The retired mental health worker, who has been involved in various adrenaline-pumping activities, organised a women's fashion show to raise funds for the Dorset Cancer Care Foundation (DCCF).

"Perhaps not surprisingly there weren't many who suggested jumping out of a plane, but the idea of a fashion show was very popular."
Mr Lewis added: "I'm very pleased it went so well and that a good amount of money was raised for the DCCF.
