Helen Blackiston and Christine Pentelow, who are members of Ringwood Bowling Club, won the 2025 Bowls Hampshire Women's Golden Pairs Championship. They played four pairs matches in the Bowls Hampshire West Area, beating pairings from Southbourne, Moordown and Bournemouth Bowling Clubs to qualify for the all-Hampshire finals. In their morning semi-final, Helen and Christine won 20-16 against Sue Dixon and Janie Vickers of Oakley Bowling Club. The afternoon final, against Jean Garrod and Lyn Booth of Mayfield Park Bowling Club, was a very close game, with Helen and Christine victorious by one shot, 19-18, to become the Bowls Hampshire Women's Golden Pairs Champions 2025.
