The Bournemouth taxi driver has voiced serious concerns over the upcoming closure of the A35 Christchurch Bypass.
Maarten Van Den Dool, who is licensed in Christchurch, said he and other drivers are “very worried” about the impact on traffic, businesses and emergency services.
The same will be for us taxi drivers, we will lose out on fares.
He said: “Whoever made these plans is obviously not a resident of Christchurch, because we are all worried.
“These plans were made by an outsider or someone who doesn’t drive a car.”The taxi driver estimates he will lose more than £1,000 over the three-week closure.
