Motorists using the Bomas – Kiserian (B19) Road should brace for over a month of traffic disruption after the Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) extended a temporary road closure. “KeNHA wishes to inform the public of a temporary traffic disruption due to the closure of the Bomas–Kiserian (B19) Road from the section after Brookhouse/Galleria (Km 0+500) to the section after Catholic University of Eastern Africa junction (Km 1+000),” the agency stated. Recommended diversions include Lang’ata Road, Lang’ata South Road, Kiboko Road, Banda Lane, Magadi Road, or Lang’ata Road, Lang’ata South Road, Kiboko Road, Mukoma Road and Magadi Road near the Shell Petrol Station. Luka Kimeli assured road users that a traffic management plan has been developed to help motorists navigate the diversions smoothly. “KeNHA advises motorists to follow the traffic diversion plan, project road signs, and cooperate with police and traffic marshals on site,” he said.
