Lucknow: In a shocking case of alleged medical negligence, two doctors at Shalini Hospital in Sitapur have been booked for allegedly removing a woman’s uterus through an abdominal incision instead of the recommended vaginal route. However, during the operation, the doctors reportedly deviated from the original plan and performed the surgery through an abdominal incision. They also alleged that the removed uterus was discarded instead of being sent for mandatory histopathological testing. She later underwent corrective surgery at a different facility, where the alleged negligence came to light.
