Himachal Pradesh- In an unfortunate incident, an MBBS student died, his classmate went missing, and two others were injured when their car fell into the Ravi River at Parel in Chamba district on the Chamba-Pathankot National Highway early on Sunday. As per media reports, the accident occurred around 2:30 am when four MBBS interns of Chamba Medical College and Hospital in Himachal Pradesh were returning to their hostel. They were interns at Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Government Medical College (PJNGMC), Chamba. Akhilesh, 25, a resident of Hamirpur district, died on the spot, while Ishika, 24, a resident of Rohru in Shimla district, was swept away by the river's strong current. Police were informed of the incident, and a search operation was immediately launched, but the missing intern has not yet been located.
