Telangana: A total of 115 pharmacies located in or attached to various corporate hospitals across Telangana have received show cause notices. The Drugs Control Administration, Telangana, conducted a special drive on 20th September, 2025, to verify the practices of pharmacies in various corporate hospitals across the State. During the special drive, officers of the Drugs Control Administration detected several irregularities in 115 pharmacies situated within or attached to various corporate hospitals across the state. Show cause notices were issued to all 115 pharmacies located in or attached to various corporate hospitals in the state, and action shall be taken as per the provisions of the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940, and the rules made thereunder.
