Mumbai: The suspended deputy dean of Sion Hospital has once again come under police radar for MBBS admission fraud after he allegedly duped a Dharavi-based doctor of Rs 70 lakh four years ago, promising an MBBS seat for his daughter under the management quota at Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical College and General Hospital. This is the 6th time that the suspended doctor, has been booked in a cheating and fraud case. The concerned deputy dean was suspended in 2023 after he was arrested in another case of a medical admission scam. Despite approaching several colleges, including Lokmanya Tilak Medical College, DY Patil Hospital, JJ Hospital, and Vedanta College under the management quota, he was unable to secure a seat.
