Rajasthan- In order to make the medical education more affordable in Rajasthan, MBBS fees for non-resident Indian (NRI) students have reportedly been revised. This was recently announced by the state cabinet, led by CM Bhajan Lal Sharma, that the MBBS fees in Rajasthan have been reduced for the NRI quota in medical institutions run by the Rajasthan Medical Education Society (RajMES). MBBS fee 2025-26 for NRI quota students has been fixed at Rs 23.9 lakh per year for each student. Currently, the MBBS course fee in Rajasthan is Rs 31 lakh per candidate per year, according to the report by Shiksha. Meanwhile, while speaking to the media after the conclusion of the cabinet meeting, Deputy CM Prem Chand Bairwa also highlighted the major revision in MBBS fees in Rajasthan.
