OCTOBER Yesteryear Truck and Machinery Show October 4-5 Wauchope Showground Wauchope, NSW The popular show features historic and late model working trucks. Lights on the Hill October 4-5 Gatton Showgrounds, QLD Be part of this special weekend as trucks roll together to honour and remember those lost from the road transport industry. The weekend starts with the convoy on October 4, with the memorial the next day at Lake Apex. Boort Truck Show October 11 Boort Park, VIC Truckies from all over the state, and beyond, are expected to descend on the shores of Lake Boort for one of the highlights of the regional trucking calendar. Mental health fundraiser October 11 Nobby, Queensland Following a successful event in 2024, another fundraising event will be held at Rudd’s Pub in Nobby, to raise mental health awareness in the transport, rural and civil industries. This time, all net proceeds will be donated to the Royal Flying Doctor Service. Camp Quality Convoy Perth October 12 Perth Hockey Stadium, Bentley Camp Quality’s Convoy Perth is a fun way for anyone who drives a truck to show their support for kids facing cancer and their families. Supporters will cheer on our Convoy, as we travel a 53km route around Perth City and Osborne Park, starting and finishing at Perth Hockey Stadium. The event venue will host a free Family Festival packed with entertainment and experiences catering for kids and adults alike. There will be food vans, kids’ rides, face painting, roving entertainment, live music, fundraising awards ceremonies, and the chance to cheer on the returning Convoy. Plus, you can check out all the trucks and vehicles at the Show ’n’ Shine after the Convoy returns. Technology and Maintenance Conference October 14-15 Victoria Pavilion, Melbourne Showgrounds, VIC The TMC Conference brings together technical professionals, fleet and workshop managers, technical regulators, mechanics and service technicians. For 2025, the event moves to a new venue – delivering bigger exhibition spaces and a larger workshop area. The venue will also provide greater space for workshops on trucks and trailers, and expanded networking areas. The 2025 program will focus on key industry priorities, including safety, productivity, environmental sustainability, cost efficiency, and workforce career development. SARTA Conference October 18 Adelaide Convention Centre, SA The South Australian Road Transport Association (SARTA) Conference will cover a range of industry issues including renewable diesel and alternative fuels, employing and developing staff, driver wellbeing and more. Tasmanian Transport Industry Gala Dinner and Awards Night October 18 Wrest Point, Hobart Bookings are now open for Tasmania's night of nights and nominations are also open for the 2025 awards which shine a light on those who go above and beyond. Urana Vintage Machinery Rally and Truck Show October 18-19 Victoria Park Urana, NSW Always a standout on the state's regional show calendar, this year's running promises to be no exception. The two-day event includes a truck show and show and shine on the Sunday with free camping and showers onsite. Sydney Convoy for Kids October 26 Sydney Dragway to Hawkesbury Showground, NSW Convoy For Kids Sydney Inc. was started in 1992 by a small group of dedicated people from the transport and associated industries who had a desire to help sick children. Today, 31 years later, we are still a volunteer committee who spend time to put together one special day, not only as a fundraiser but a family day for all. Drivers and owner drivers travel from all parts of NSW with their families to participate in this great event each year. It is a spectacular sight to see 500 or more trucks, in a convoy supporting the event. Funds are raised on the day by truck entries, sales of food and merchandise, major raffle, donations and a giant auction. Taking part means you are helping raise funds for the NETS Ambulance Service and Kidzfix NOVEMBER Brisbane Convoy for Kids November 1 Brisbane, QLD The Brisbane Convoy for Kids is back on November 1, travelling from Larapinta to the Redcliffe Showgrounds. Once it arrives, a family fun day will take place, with a wide range of activities on offer including live entertainment, auctions, food stalls, free kids’ rides, face painting, animal petting, magic shows, and a night lights display. Convoy participants also compete in a range of categories, with awards handed out on the day. Ulverstone Truck Show November 1 Ulverstone Showgrounds, Tasmania Held as part of the Thank You Day Show, a fundraising event to raise money for Beyond Blue and New Mornings, this year’s truck show component will feature a Kenworth focused show alongside the usual truck show. There will be prizes for both shows and lots of giveaways. The event starts at 9am. Mullumbimby Truck Show November 8 Mullumbimby, NSW Held in conjunction with the annual Mullumbimby Agricultural Show on the second Saturday of November each year, you won’t want to miss the Mullumbimby Truck Show! This event will feature a truck parade through the town, sideshow alley, kids’ rides, food vans, full bar facilities and live music. Other features include horse and cattle events including trotting. Goulburn Convoy For Kids November 8 Goulburn, NSW For just over 25 years, Convoy for Kids Goulburn has brought the community together in a powerful show of generosity and heart. This annual charity fundraiser unites truckies, truck lovers, families, and businesses to raise vital funds for children in need across the Goulburn region. With a colourful convoy of trucks and cars winding through town, fun-filled family events, and community spirit on full display, Convoy for Kids Goulburn continues to drive change and make a meaningful difference in the lives of local kids. There's plenty of fun for the day including the trucks driving down the Main Street (Aubarn Street), Carnival Day at the Recreation Area, food stalls, live entertainment, kids’ rides and activities, raffles, charity auction, and more. Trucks muster from 8:30am at Gateway Service Station, with the Lead Truck drawn at 9:30am. The convoy departs at 10:30am sharp, proceeding down Auburn Street. Truck registration is $100 (includes entry into the Lead Truck draw). Cars and other vehicles are $60. At 11:00am, the Carnival Day will commence at the Goulburn Recreation Area—adult entry $10, children under 18 free. Register online. Illawarra Convoy November 16 Illawarra, NSW Touted as the largest truck and motorbike convoy in the Southern Hemisphere, the Illawarra Convoy raises funds for individuals and families affected by potentially life threatening medical conditions, together with charities that work with these people, and local hospitals. Castlemaine Rotary Truck Show November 29-30 Castlemaine, VIC Held at Campbells Creek Recreation Reserve and organised by the Castlemaine Rotary Club, this year’s truck show is gearing up to be bigger and better than ever. DECEMBER HVIA Awards Gala Dinner December 4 Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, QLD At the Plaza Ballroom, HVIA will celebrate the industry with 10th Anniversary National Awards Gala Dinner. The awards program will feature an expanded suite of categories celebrating excellence, leadership and innovation across all sectors of the industry, including suppliers, operators and employees. JANUARY Twin City's Show N Shine Convoy for Kids January 18 Albury Showgrounds, NSW The Convoy starts at the Barnawartha BP and finishes at the Albury Showgrounds. Almost 300 trucks took part in the convoy at the last event, travelling the Hume in support of Country Hope, which raises money for kids with cancer and other life threatening illnesses. Following the Convoy, there will be a Show N Shine where trucks, cars and bikes go head to head across a range of categories. Organisers are hoping to make the convoy even bigger and better in 2026 by getting more trucks involved, with a goal of raising $100,000 for Country Hope.
