The Count of Monte Cristo premiered at the 19th Rome Film Festival in October 2024, and aired in Switzerland, Sweden, and Italy. Per PBS, The Count of Monte Cristo is “produced by Palomar and DEMD Productions, two Mediawan companies, and distributed worldwide by MediawanRights in cooperation with CAA (for North America) and with the participation of Entourage Ventures.” The first episode of The Count of Monte Cristo will premiere via streaming on the PBS app and PBS Masterpiece on Prime Video on Sunday, March 1.
