Adele L. Auwen was born to Floyd and Abbie (Meyer) Hensley on May 17, 1938 in Norman, OK. She gained her Heavenly Wings on August 5, 2025 at the age of 87 years. Adele was a lifetime resident of Noble. She attended Noble Public Schools. On June 3, 1964 she married the love of her life Frank Milton Auwen at the Cleveland County Courthouse. They were married for 49 years until his passing in 2013. Adele was a longtime member of the Noble United Methodist Church. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, traveling with her husband while he was in the Service, researching genealogy and visiting with friends. Adele was a longtime member of the Moose Lodge and served as president for some time. Adele was preceded in death by her parents, husband Frank, children: Tim Auwen and Rhonda Richardson. She is survived by her brother John Floyd Hensley of California, sister Norma Stroman of Norman, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. A visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM on 2025-08-07 at McMahans Funeral Home, 616 S. 8th Street. A service will be held from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM on 2025-08-08 at Noble United Methodist Church, 204 N. Main Street.
