Ronald 'Ron' Tiehen, 82, of Norman, passed away at home on Sunday, September 7, 2025. Born in California to Robert 'Bob' Leo and Anna Marian Tiehen, Ron grew up in Velma, Oklahoma. He attended St. Gregory's College before earning a degree in Business Administration from the University of Oklahoma. Following graduation, Ron entered the U.S. Air Force, where he proudly served his country for 20 years, retiring with the rank of Major. After his military career, he worked as a logistics manager for several companies, including Brown Group, JoAnn's, McCrory's, and most recently Shaklee in Norman. Ron cherished time with family and friends and enjoyed an active retirement filled with swimming, fishing, and boating. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 55 years, Rene 'Penny' Tiehen; his sister, Geraldine Ann 'Jerriann' Smith; and his parents. He is survived by his daughter, Christine (Cary) Rochman; his son, Brian (Leigh) Tiehen; his brother, Richard (Linda) Tiehen; and several nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 19, 2025, at Havenbrook Funeral Home, 3401 Havenbrook St, Norman, Oklahoma.
