FREDDIE PATRICIA SOLOMON was born in Winter Haven, FL to Minnie Bee Solomon and Fred Solomon. She was a graduate of Winter Haven High School, class of 1951, and a proud drum majorette. She attended Florida State University in Sarasota, graduating with a BS in Education in 1955. She met her future husband, Rex Lee Inman, during her junior year. Freddie and Rex enjoyed playing golf together as undergraduates, and they would go on to enjoy the sport throughout their lives. She was married to Captain Rex Inman on December 1954. The young couple enjoyed the fellowship of their military friends and could also be regularly seen at Twin Lakes Country Club playing Friday night scramble. Freddie went on to receive her Master of Education from the University of Oklahoma, in 1968. After receiving her Master of Education, Freddie went on to teach in the gifted and talented program at Norman public schools for 35 years, all while raising her four daughters. Freddie, affectionately known as Grandma Pat to her 12 grandchildren, was famed for her implacable resolve, deep Christian faith, quick wit, and colorful idioms. She never suffered fools gladly, but always carried a fierce love for her family and friends. Survived by: Daughters, Deborah Ehman and her husband Michael Ehman, Jackie Benninger and her husband David Benninger, Barbara Spotts and her husband Andrew Spotts. Preceded in death by: Husband Rex Lee Inman, daughter Susan Lee Inman, sister Ymogene Mace, great-granddaughter Clara Jean Gaultney. Survived by Grandchildren: Brooke Benninger Bjorkman and her husband Peter Bjorkman, Mark Benninger, Brett Benninger, Wade Benninger, Rex Tyler Ehman and his wife Bayley Ehman, Amy Claire Gaultney (Ehman) and her husband Daniel Gaultney, Brigitte Bayliss Ehman and her husband Chris Bayliss, Jeffrey Ivester and his wife Ava Ivester, Blake Ivester, Kirk Spotts and his wife Iris Spotts, Kevin Spotts, and Kory Spotts DeNato and her husband Joey DeNato. Great Grand Children: Deborah Bayliss, Helena Bjorkman, Sage Denato, Owen Ehman, Olivia Ehman, Henry Ehman, Emma Ivester, Isaac Gaultney, Saoirse Gaultney, Amelia Gaultney, and Kyra Spotts. A funeral service will be held from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM on 2025-09-26 at First Baptist Church, 211 W. Comanche St.
