Just read a story, Uvalde clas sroom doors couldn't be locked from the inside, and that's true of 1/4 or more schools in the U.S. Quoted safety expert who said no one had ever been killed inside a clas sroom that you could lock from the inside, but millions are spent on complicated safety personnel and equipment without changing door locks. Check your school, make sure your kid's teacher can lock the kids in and doesn't have to get a key and stand in the hallway locking the door, then getting a kid to let her in (like one of the Uvalde teachers had to do). Not just for shooting situations, also necessary if a noncustodial parent is in the building trying to pick up a kid, etc.
