Even if you can’t find a way to save money through a new bank or credit union, you could find that the customer service and trustworthiness at a new financial institution are better than where you currently bank. If you classify savings the same way you classify paying bills — as a non-negotiable necessity — you’ll find a way to pay yourself, the same as you find a way to keep the lights on and pay the rent.
