When the roommate asked Robinson why he shot Kirk, charging documents say Robinson responded, “I had enough of his hatred. Based on Robinson’s text messages with his roommate included in the charging documents, that gun once belonged to his grandfather. However, Robinson’s father spoke on the phone with Robinson,” the charges say.
