It’s easy to assume that such a hard-working piece of clothing would come with a hefty price tag, however, after my colleagues and I spent some time exploring the high street, we realised that there are several retailers that really deliver in the tailoring department. I found myself drawn to Arket’s sleek designs and Free People’s expertly crafted silhouettes, meanwhile, for my colleague Joy, it was a pair of tapered, Italian wool trousers from Me + Em. While linen trousers are great for summer occasions, I’ve got my eye on smart styles spun from materials like hopsack wool and fine corduroy that will see me through the colder months of the year.
