Appreciating teachers sacrifices and efforts for our students are important. It gives teacher the happiness of being recognized and their hardwork being payed off. Especially the president acknowledging their profession as invaluable service to nation uplift the teachers community. As a future educator it inspires me to pursue being a teacher knowing that we are looked up by people appreciating our works and profession. But for me, teachers are overworked and greeting would not be enough but rather amending policies and laws that would help the teachers on their work. Lessening their paper works that enables them to focus more for classes and enough rest. That would be enough to show appreciation to teachers.
