There are few meals that are more soothing than a Sunday roast – a heaving plate of juicy meat (or veg, for those who are so inclined) drowned in gravy and accompanied by perfectly crispy roast potatoes, a Yorkshire pudding the size of your head, and a glass of red wine or two, all guaranteed to lull you into a blissful food coma.
