The actual delivery and assembly was less impressive, missing the five-hour delivery window by 90 minutes and then taking two movers almost two hours to assemble the bed frame, which I believe is more to do with the complex construction of the frame than anything else. Practically, the storage that this bed frame provides is substantial, especially the large full-width drawer at the base of the bed. The slats are thick wood, providing a very stable and solid base for the mattress and brace for the bed frame, which both increases the comfort level and provides a sturdy structure with very little movement—something that has previously been an issue with other king bed frames I have owned.
