Paddack surrendered a whopping eight earned runs on nine hits and three walks with four strikeouts in 5 2/3 innings in Sunday's game between Minnesota and Detroit. Royce Lewis started the scoring with a solo home run off a sinker from Paddack in the second inning. Luke Keaschall grounded into a force out, allowing Buxton to score, in the following inning to give Minnesota its eighth run of the game. With rosters expanding to 28 players in September, the Tigers may utilize Dobnak as added bullpen depth or to give the starting rotation rest. Meanwhile, Jimenez, 19, has been on a tear with Low-A Fort Myers, slashing .265/.468/.529 with three home runs in 47 plate appearances.
