Comments for New Mexico Political Report
The U.S. Bureau of Reclamation broke ground this week on a water treatment plant that is a key component of the Navajo-Gallup Water Supply Project. Funding also comes through the Reclamation Water Settlement Fund and was authorized under the Northwestern New Mexico Rural Water Projects Act. In a press release, Deming said the Navajo-Gallup Water Supply project will do more than just provide clean drinking water for homes.
