As a gay man and immigrant, I find Sharma's views offensive: she engages in gender stereotyping and wants to tilt the playing field in favor of one of the most privileged groups in Western societies: women. A liberal, free, and fair society should judge people as individuals, based on their individual achievements, not based on their gender.
