Frankly I don't take much stalk in anything coming from David Crow, who bans any perceived leaders from Startup North and takes a 'quite hostile' approach to 'ecosystem building' which is really about ego building. As one of the first players in Canada's innovation community, Crow has always felt entitled and has criticized good and real efforts by other new actors on the stage. FAN was by far perfect, but BetaKit reporting should provide a bit more balance than a mouthpiece for someone like David Crow.
