I would be *very* careful about how this is presented and the language used. While women are certainly under represented in technology and its great to encourage more applicants, hiring someone specifically for a role because of their sex is still just as discriminatory even when done with the best of intentions. Given the general tech work force makeup of women is approx 20%, if you're reaching 50% the decision making process and hiring audit trail around how this was achieved would need to be well very well documented. Ageism should also be noted as this appears to be a uniformly young workforce.
