The iX5 shares its Neue Klasse look with the gas-powered X5, and uses an updated version of the existing CLAR platform found under the X5 and iX. Initially offered with just one trim, the iX5 60 xDrive will produce 570 hp and 593 pound-feet of torque, with around 435 miles of range and the ability to recharge at up to 460 kilowatts. Visually, there are also unusual touch-capacitive winglets that replace traditional door handles and a new X-shaped lighting signature in the headlights.
