While these may be valid points the author is bringing up, I believe always singling out hypocrisy of the "right" is hypocrisy in itself. For all their preaching of standing for women, Democrats have had some of the worst treatment of women ever by presidents with JFK and Clinton. Hypocrisy unfortunately is pervasive in both sides.
