I sure hope so! And at the same time, a majority elected a misogynist into office. Which shows the state of affairs of this country. I wish the movement would have started in Universities/Colleges, Government, Politics and Work centers, and not in Hollywood. Where so much back door prostitution and backhanded hypocrisy is conceived. But alas, it's a start and this unique opportunity should never be taken lightly! It took over 100 years for this movement to evolve. Now it's the historical change for women to get their fair treatment and well deserved equal part in society. However, so this fever doesn't die down; legislation needs to happen. Our education system needs to change, all this rampant sexism and unfair treatment started when boys were small and weren't told this was wrong. It was commonly and abusively so played down by society. The betterment of society starts with parents and educators educating the children on equality--so, the next generation can carry the torch. If laws aren't implemented on teaching children the basis of equality. So they can grow up into healthier and better individuals, we are doing nothing. It needs to begin from the ground up and focus first on this country, then other nations will get inspired. I can't change what's going on in Saudi Arabia, but I can change for the better on what's happening in the U.S. Start here so it can be further! Cheers and best wishes!
