The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department confirmed to have received reports around 12:40 p.m. of a possible armed individual at the school, which precipitated the lockdown. After thorough investigation, Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department announced there were "no injuries and there is no longer any threat to the school," also noting that "reports of a weapon on campus were unsubstantiated." Following the all-clear from police, the school initiated a delayed, staggered release to reunite students with their families.
