It's 2025, and while the United States has never elected a woman president, there have been a long list of fictional female presidents in film and television. Many fictional female presidents get their role through the deaths or resignations of male presidents. “I feel proud to step into the role of a president of the United States in a country that has not been able to elect a female president and the entire history of this country, so I'm hoping that in some way we can contribute to seeing normalizing that and potentially just seeing that happen one day.
