Sarnia Police have charged a 31-year-old man in connection with a suspected arson last month on Echo Road. The officer followed a suspect, who fled in a vehicle, until it became unsafe to pursue. Investigators say they reviewed ownership, mortgage, and insurance details and as a result arrested the homeowner, Caleb Moore. Moore was charged with arson, mischief endangering life, common nuisance endangering life, and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle. He was remanded into custody following a bail hearing and is scheduled to appear in court again later this week.
