Police are now reporting Matthew Pilarowski of Kimball Township entered his wife’s business and shot her. 32-year old Cheryl Myny was transported to Lake Huron Medical Center where she died a short time later. The suspect fled the scene, prompting a search of the area by Marysville and Port Huron area authorities. Witness statements lead officers to a home in Kimball Township where the suspects’ vehicle was found. After obtaining a search warrant, Sheriff’s Office Special Response Team searched the residence and found the suspect, 34-year-old Matthew Pilarowski, deceased by what is believed to be a self-inflicted gunshot.
